On November 20, 2006, Kingboard Chemical Holdings Ltd. (Kingboard Chemical) announced separately listing its wholly-owned subsidiary Kingboard Laminates Holdings Ltd (Kingboard Laminates).
Kingboard Chemical is one of the worldĄŻs largest laminates manufacturer. Established its first laminates manufacturing facility in 1988, it operates more than 40 manufacturing facilities now, turning out a large spectrum of products ranging from paper laminates to PCBs, chemicals, copper foil, glass fabric, glass yarn, bleached kraft paper, liquid crystal displays and magnetic products. In 1991, Kingboard Chemical added another laminates facility in Longhua, Shenzhen of Guangdong province; and a third production line in Shanghai in 1992 - it commenced full operation in March 1993 and was relocated to Kunshan, Jiangsu province in January 2005.
